A very confused shoe....

I just opened my Facebook and there was a shoe that from afar looked really nice for a low platform but up close once I clicked the link at Barneys I thought WTF? This shoe has leather, patent leather, espadrille, wedge, stretchy fabric! Talk about overload! the price for the shoes $595! It looks like someone just slapped a bunch of stuff together! At certain times I have to question fashion, and really question the things that cost so much money! What happened to a cute wedge for under 150? or even 50! It pains me to see shoes like this!

Play black jack like a lady....

So, every once in a while I ride up to the casino with my dad (mostly because there is tax free shopping up in Delaware) Before I go I set a limit though.  This limit is put into place for many reasons but the most important so I can walk away with dignity from the table when I lose.  When I go with my dad we head off early in the morning and usually have the people left over from being drunk the night before.  The women have thousands of dollars in chips that are gone within 5 minutes.  Here is how I win a little bit of money and walk away.  I set my limit like I said, Usually 50 or 100 dollars! TOPS 140! (If you are in Vegas on vacation you can set a higher limit but set a daily limit that is within reason, look at the money before you spend it and think of what kind of purse or shoes you can buy with that before setting your limit so high) pick a table that looks friendly, and also a friendly dealer.  Play the table min. it helps the money last longer and the fun also.  Don't sit at the end, you don't want to be responsible for the table if you take the bust card.  Ask for help from your fellow table goers, usually they are pros (even though they are usually losing) but they know what to do, the dealer will also chime in with a tip for you.  Tip the dealer, if you get black jack always give the dealer a small amount, at the end if you walk away with money give him/her a tip, after all they helped you.  My main rule is double and run. I learned this from my dad! He visits vegas and casinos all the time.  If you manage to double your money RUN, OR take the money you had and doubled put it in your pocket and play with what is left, do not use that extra money.  If you want to keep playing then switch tables.  In the end walk away happy even if you lost (poor shoes sitting in the store) you had fun most likely! Enjoy!
