HAPPY HALLOWEEN, PLEASE KEEP IT CLASSY!

Yes, it is that time of year where you can let out your inner "slut" haha! But don't go to far doing it! Remember that there are kids around, and what dresses like a slut brings you! So dress classes and cute! Go as coco chanel, or kate moss in her first calvin klein ad! Maybe not everyone will understand your costume but the ones that do will love the kind of art that you have created! Me personally, I will be little red ridding hood, (not the hoochie version)! I thought it was cute just cause my mom sent it to me! Enjoy and don't eat so much candy that you will regret it in the AM!

Why is it still 101 degrees out?!

Ok girls, I'm getting super annoyed, I stocked up on fall clothes @nordstrom, @h&m, etc etc and they are gathering dust in my closet cause it is still so hot outside! This is so not fair! I'm about to just be like "ok its fall so who cares and wear fall clothes".  Is it hot where you girls or at? Or is it just me stuck in Arizona?!

College girls (ASU & Beyond)

Please someone kill me, because school is in session and that means that the SLUTS ARE OUT.  Sorry to speak so bluntly, but when I drive past ASU (Arizona State University) I cant help but gag a little.  Why is it so important to wear booty shorts and tight tube tops to school? My husband who goes to the university even pointed out how the girls spend more than half their time pulling their shorts out of ridding up on them! Girls, Im not trying to be a nerd, and its all good to have a little classy fun.  But you go to school for a reason! TO LEARN! (and not to learn how to be a slut).  Yeah the guys pay attention to you, but only for one reason, and its not to take you home to mommy and make you their wife, or even their girlfriends.  I honestly feel really sorry for girls that feel the need to dress this way. Yes it is hot in Arizona, and around the world, but try a long maxi dress and flip flops!
***Side note, I wanna say that I'm not jealous, the girls that I see are beautiful girls, that I feel could offer a lot more if they were to show a lot less. I had my college days(never dressed like them) ***

Fall is falling upon us.....

So girls, here comes fall.  I have to ask SO SOON!? Just when I was building my summer wardrobe, there is fall sneaking up on me! So what are your fall staple outfits or pieces? I find that leopard NEVER GOES OUT OF STYLE! (JUST DONT OVER DO IT).  I love anything leopard, but I do one piece at a time.  I have to say one of my fav. would be my leopard white house black market ballet flats with skinny jeans and a black top.  For some reason when I wear leopard I wear gold, when I wear black I wear silver! Another thing that is really in and really cute this fall is lace.  I got a lot of nice pieces at LOFT.  Girls keep in mind it doesn't matter where you get it, its how you wear it!  I see girls with 500 dollar dresses and look like complete trash, and girls with 20 dollar target outfits that look beyond cute and classy! If you are scared of bold trends or animal prints, always play it safe, dont over do it! Another thing that I have noticed lately when shopping is that most tops are not plunging necks! I would like to believe that the boobs hanging out of your top look is OVER with.  Leave some things to the imagination.  Show a little leg, or a tiny bit of your bust line but over doing it just brings on the nasty looks! So girls, what are your fav trends?

Beautiful girls' all around the world....

I wanna write about the women that I find most amazing around the globe, and why I find them amazing.  So many women are in the news currently for doing horrible things to children and people, that we need to take time to highlight the women who are amazing, strong and of course have a great sense of fashion.
North America:  Angelina Joile, yes she is over rated and she is around the globe known as a wonderful women, but I think that is because she really is.  Not only does she have her own children and raise them but she adopts children from around the world and loves them equally.  Something that recently has been a topic of discussion of women who adopt children and mis treat them because they do not feel they are their own.  Angelina from what I can see has no indication of this.  She is of course an amazing beauty and strong women and is known to always donate, even in times when our own government fails to do so.
Europe: Why its Mrs. Victoria Beckham of course! A women with a great sense of fashion, and a big family, that is just amazing.  and of course while wearing the hottest clothes. Yes that sound superficial but I believe that she is an amazing mother, her children seem very well rounded and well behaved.  Victoria is very thin, and has often been said to be suffering from eating disorders, I'm not sure of the truth to this.  However; she is a classy lady, with a lot on her head! I remember when she confronted Perez Hilton years back, it was great! Ballsy women are amazing! Personally I love her hair long!
South America: SHAKIRA SHAKIRA!!! AMAZING out of all the women Shakira is by far my favorite, she has everything going for her! Brains, body, moves, looks! I have watched Shakira change throughout the years, yet it doesn't seem like she is following any fashion trends but jus rather growing as a women.  Not only did she help write a book with Dora but she has set up a foundation in her Native country of Columbia.  Shakira is always around the world spreading positive vibes.  The only thing I currently have against her, is her boyfriend plays for Barcelona and I'm a Madrid fan! haha! I lost count as to how many times I tried to get my hair her color and have failed! And the amount of money I have spent! Ha!
Africa: Sade, although it seems she only appears every decade, her amazing voice never fails!!! The style of her music never goes out of style! Her signature songs that (No ord. Love) are classics.  Sadly, there is not a lot to write about her since her life is kept very private, but that is something that I admire from her. She could be out running wild, but she currently lives in the UK.
Middle East: Queen Raina, why? Because she has my daughters name! Well not just that, she is an amazing women who has done a lot for one of the causes that I stand by, which is Honor killings.  Since living in the country of Jordan she has helped Queen Nour to make the punishment stronger for women who suffer from Honor Killings.  She is a Muslim women, yet she doesn't cover her hair, but stays classy and beautiful.  Many of the royals around the middle east do not do much with their time besides spend their money.  She has a voice and she uses it.
Asia: Priyanka Chopra, an amazing actress in the Bollywood film scene.  Along with being a Goodwill Embassador she makes time for an amazing career and was Miss world.  7 khoon Maaf, if you get a chance check that movie out and you will see why she is amazing! I have seen most of her films, and personally I prefer her over Mrs. Rai.
I know I forgot AUSSIE, but I couldn't think of any off the top of my head! So what are your girls leading ladies????

Every time I see your face....

SoulStruck.com Sends me e-mails, and I try not to open them, but as Oscar Wilde said "I can resist everything but tempation".  Which is very true.  Today was all the new Jeffrey Campbell shoes for the fall. I almost died, the amount of Leopard I saw was amazing I was in heaven.  I always think if I had 5,000 dollars to spend alone on JC shoes I would die happy.  The shoes as the picture are what Im thinking as my fall shoe investment (well high price shoe).  What do you girls think? I like them cause I could wear them during the day and night also.  Being a mom on the run during the day, I want something that I can transform into night time shoes.  I think these would be great with black shorts a little tank top.   All of my mommy readers do you wear high shoes when you are out with your kids? I find myself more wearing flip flops but I do love to find a comfy shoe that is high.  I know the LITA JC's are really cute and comfy I feel super tall in them but I also feel I could chase my two year old around in them without falling on my face! It's not like I'm wearing stilletos'.  Although Victoria Beckham tends to pull that one off rather well! But I think she was born wearing Louboutins :) What I wouldn't give to be her daughter (minus the name Harper).

RIP AMY

Amy Winehouse, had one of the coolest voices of our generation.  Bringing us songs like "F*** me Pumps" (If you haven't heard it hear it, all about those ghetto gold digging girls at bars) and "Rehab".  Sadly she was a lost and troubled girl wrapped up in some scary stuff, that eventually brought her down.  As a tribute to her, for her soulful voice, next weekend when you go out, put on a few extra lines of eye liner and tease your hair a little more! Amy your music will always be with us all! RIP Beautiful girl!

Its great for a trip to the mall but........

Not the club, last night I encountered so many fashion mishaps that I don't think there is enough space on the blog for them all.  It was like left and right pure fashion HELL! But one of the one's that got to me was the crossbody bags at the club!!!! HELLO CLUTCHES!!! Crossbodies are great don't get me wrong, I love having mine at the mall or walking around out and about but at the club, big NO NO!!! You might as well sport a fanny pack! One of the main reasons is well, it looks tacky, but it also distracts from what you are wearing.  There are so many other options: Clutch! wristlet! Makeup bag (I.E. the small classic Louis Vuitton circa 2001).  I personally have been using my Burberry makeup bag it attach's to my purse so I fill it with the things I need for the club, you will never catch me using a crossbody, over my dead BODY :)

Embracing your curves? REALLY

Ok, so last night I went for a night on the town.  Being plus size, I know how to look cute, and understand where my curves are, and how to wear my spanx under! HOWEVER every time I go out there are hordes of women and girls who do not understand how to do this! Is it that hard to look in the mirror and realize that the dress doesn't fit? Some of the girls were not fat, but rather had on skin tight dresses with no ass's and beer bellies! I don't get it? What is sexy about that.  When you shop for an outfit always take someone you trust, and honestly take a guy with you, because he will tell you the truth, I feel like girls often sugar coat it.  I know my husband tells me like it is, and thank God for that.  Its ok not to have a good body, I don't but you have to know how to work with your body.  For example, the trend of mini skirts is in, and is super cute.  Many skinny girls are pairing it with a tight tank top or loss fitting one, which looks great on them, but if you are a plus size girl, try to wear a big shirt that falls off your shoulder (that adds some spice) and make sure it is not too short of a shirt, and always wear spanxx or something of that sort!  If you have no butt and a belly, try wearing jeans or shorts with a loss fitting tank top.  And girls, Please do not wear flip flops to the club! If you have small boobs dont wear 50 bra's too push them up, accept and love what you have and be happy you dont have to wear a grandma size bra to hold them up!

Before we get to fashion lets get this out of the way.....

So, the Casey Anthony trial is over, and its all over the media every step she takes (like everyone says OJ 2.0).  I feel as a mother I have to get this off my chest! The justice system has failed! I understand that the jury might not of wanted to have death put on their minds, but there were so many lesser charges that she could of been charged with, and we could of seen some justice for Caylee.  I was so angered how she threw her parents under the bus just to get off, granted the State didn't do much, but they worked with what they had.  Clearly the women (Casey) is a compulsive liar, and has issues.  If my daughter was missing even for 10 minutes I would go crazy and report it, not get all hoochified and go out with friends.  Even if she drowned as they said, I would be in such a state of shock and grief that I would not be able to live with myself! That's me personally! Being a mother is not easy! That is for sure, but you know if you cannot do it  there are so many people who would love to be parents! There are places that you can take your children if you feel you cannot handle them.  Why would someone resort to killing a child? I really hope though that Caylee is resting in peace.  No child deserves what happened to her.  Please if you suspect abuse or neglect contact your local CPS (Child protection service) office, if you are a parent and feel you cannot deal with your child, any hospital, police or fire station will take your child. There is always an option.  What is everyones thought on this case?

Guess who's back?

I have missed my blog sooooooo much! Im back! And Im here to stay! I don't know if I still have anyone checking or reading, but I will keep posting and hoping that you girls start reading again, and I can share stuff! Im sorry I started selling on eBay and if anyone has done eBay before they know how much it takes from you! Its crazy.  I wasn't just selling but I made a store.  I have been selling really cute stuff and having a lot of fun.  But honestly I miss writing! I gave up on all the social networks (they just got annoying) and I will be here :) So girls lets talk fashion! What have been your favorite trends of the summer? There are so many styles this summer, I have been dipping into each one of them, depending on my day.  I can tell you recently I have gone out, and I have seen so many girls LOST!!!! (Future post for that one).  Since I'm a mommy, I do want to also do a post about Casey Anthony, I know its all over, but I just feel I have to put in my two cents! I wanna ask you girls, if you have something that is from 2007 is it ok to wear it now in 2011? I will tell you, I have so many sunglasses and purses from back in the day, that I spent a lot on, and I still love them a lot, and I believe that as long as you like it, personally I think its ok! What do you girls think? Also a lot of you are Lamas Richie readers, what do you think about Shaynes pregnancy? Lots to talk about!!! Ok will be posting more :)

TOMS

I love shoes, as if you read my blog or ever stepped in my home you would know.  When I saw Toms on sale at Nordys, I was thinking "eww 45 dollars for those. they look so ugly".  Well don't judge a book by its cover. A few weeks later I saw this girl wearing a pair with skinny jeans and then another girl wearing the glitter ones and I was like "oh my god they are so cute".  Toms are super cute on and comfy, and look great with so many different outfits.  To top it off for every pair you buy they donate one pair to a child in need.  So buying shoes and helping children? What could be better than that????  If only other companies did this, it would be so wonderful!!! Also if you want exclusive collection they have them on Neimanmarcus.com!!! They also offer mens and children!!!

Rated G!

Ok, I titled this rated G, because this shoe is for all ages.  My mom ordered a pair and then I did and now my husband is ordering a pair for his mom.  They are super cute and have great detail along with being really comfy! They go with my sailor look! I got a great deal on zappos.com for them but they also have them on Nordstrom.com and at Nordys.  Now to find the perfect outfit to go with them.... I think aiming towards white pants unsure about the top!
Naughty Monkey Captain shoes!

Spring is here....for everyone this time

Spring is here, it has been here for a while for me living in Arizona.  What are your girls favorite trends or anything that you like? I have to say that I'm still loving the nautical look, it is always classic so I'm big into that.  Also, boho chic from H&M! And of course carrying over from the fall leopard! I got a leopard scarf at New York and company to wear on simple days when I wanna ad a touch of fun to an outfit.  I did something bold and bought a bright red purse, I usually stay in dark or neutral colors but my husband helped to get persuade me into getting it! (He could of just been bored of being in Coach for hours). There are a lot of great things for all different styles this season, I'm tapping into all the styles, how about you?

Black Swan

Does anyone know what the ending was? Or can tell me what they think? I watched it last night, and I'm still like HUH today!!!! BTW it is a great freaking movie, beautifully done, the girls are just beautiful, Natalie Portman is just such a great actress!!!!

Mama!

When I was a young girl, I always thought I would be a mid-thirties mother pushing her pram with a black bob hair cut black pants and black jacket and big shades! Well, I was way off.  My first daughter I was 21, and my second 27 (I forgot how old I had to calculate hahah how sad!) Even though I didn't live up to my dreams of pushing a pram and being a stuck up mom I'm happy! I see moms like that when I go to the mall and I just am like thank God I didn't fulfill my dream.  Girls, what I'm trying to say, life isn't always what you have planned out, and you are handed things and you have to embrace them! Enjoy your life, since I'm having a pre-mid-life crisis I feel I have to tell you girls this.  We will not all grow up to be Miss America or a Disney Princess, but we will grow up to be wonderful women! Accept life and everything that comes with it! PS this picture I found is sooooo perfect I was laughing so hard! Wow you can google anything and find it!!!

NEW YORK AND CO 50% oFF EVERYTHINGGG

Sadly until till April 3rd (today) but if you can race down to your local mall or go to Newyorkandcompany.com I'm sure you will find some great stuff.  I found out thursday and I raced in with a crowd of like a million other women and their husbands (my husband gave up before entering the door and handed my his credit card and said he would be outside gotta love him for that.) I spent 175, and I got 2 jeans, one dress pants, earring, ring, 3 nice tops (short sleeve), one long sleeve sheer top and a sweater!!!! I think that is pretty darn good!!! If you don't like their stuff but need suits or work clothes for a good price they have great basic stuff!!! I always get their stuff and jazz it up!

COPY CATS

I have been writing for months and recently have taken the challenge of using Kohl on my eyes.  So today I was relaxing finally and reading Life and Style and it was showing how the new thing is "kohl lined eyes" and how Sephora will be having Guerlain bring in there own $36 version!!!!  As much as i love Sephora and Guerlian, I just have to say Eghhhhh.  Save your money and go to a local Arab grocery or Indian! Honestly Im sure its the same stuff in it just a name brand and fancy bottle.  I will go to Sephora and check it out girls and let you know! I love eyeliner so if it is good I will get it and tell you girls I was wrong :)

The bottom

At the bottom of my page is an action we can all take part of which is to help save animals lives.  Even if you are not a vegi, they still kill animals who are passed their "prime" and just toss them away.  I have had animals all my life and I love animals so this is something that I'm for, what you do is answer a question and it sends you to your facebook page for whatever product it is.  Once you like it, you save two animals, after that you can go to your facebook and delete the products (such as Oreo, Lexus, American Express) or keep them.  Thanks!!!

Sephora's products!!!

Sephora brand has a great line of skincare.  Since I went on my skin care rampage today, I hit up Mac and also Sephora, I didn't wanna spend hundreds on creams that would gather dust, so I decided to get what I really thought could help me now.  I got this roller ball eye de puffer by Sephora, it was only 15 dollars, I can't tell the results yet, but I have a feeling that they are going to be good.  I talked to the women in Sephora cause I read the contents of it, and she was telling me because it is Sephora's brand they can charge what they like (the company) that is why it is so low.  I know that in the past I have used Sephoras make up and one of my favorite lipsticks is by them.  They do have really great products even their blush and powder is great.  It is a few extra dollars then the grocery store stuff and well worth it.  If you can get someone that has worked there a while to spend time with you on a day that is not busy they really do help you.  Also because they have sooooo many lines, they usually mix match which means they are not favored to one.  As for Mac, I read a fashion blog and the girl said get Strobe cream and I did and I also got the Lady Gaga lip gloss, I love nude colors I couldn't resist it!!!

SICK

I know I know this is a fashion blog, but when I read something like this I cannot help but think how SICK people are!!!! What kind of world do we live in when a child cannot trust their own parent?  AND A MOTHER!!! Reading this I almost threw up in my mouth! My daughter is 2 as is the little girl in this case.  My question is why did this women only get 15 years.  HELLO LIFE IN JAIL! NO PAROLE!!! My heart goes out to the little girl.  I really hope she gets a lot of help! And as for the young man that watched it 5 years? Come on people!!! Serve justice correctly!

http://www.cnn.com/2011/CRIME/03/23/maine.sex.crime.sentence/index.html?hpt=Sbin

30?!

In one month (4/25) I will be turning dare I say 30! I will be leaving my wonderful 20's behind with a frown! I remember my tenth birthday when my father said "oh your a big girl now you hit the double digits", now if only I could go back to being 10! Everyone says I look young and when I buy my husband ciggs (ewww) I get carded, I smile, but I think they are just trying to be nice! I mean really I cant look 17, I have had 2 children!
I have gone into secret panic mode and haven't expressed it to my husband since he is younger he will just laugh at me.  So what is  girl to do? RESEARCH THE BEST FREAKING FACE CREAMS!!!!
I have never used face creams in my life.  I have been blessed with good skin! But I feel this pressure to try creams on my face.  I used to work for many cosmetic companies, and I felt guilty selling creams cause I felt like they don't really work and honestly some of them just weight your skin down.  So I think I will start lightly.
Watch next week I will be posting about an electric scooter (use the old people kind) and the next week picking out my casket and land plot! I will keep you girls posted with the casket I mean cream I buy! :)

Putting the theory to test.

A while back I did a blog called "middle eastern tricks of the trade".  Well I decided to go to an Arabic store and buy khol for my eyes.  Tonight I decided to put it on and I will every night for 16 days.  At the end I will see the result, I will post before and after of my eyes.  I wanna tell you though this stuff is 2.99 and goes on better than any Dior or eyeliner I have used before!!!! I also have put it on my eyebrows because I would like to have darker eyebrows without dying them.  This will be fun!!!! If you wanna try it for yourself you can find it in about any Arabic grocery store, this is the brand that I chose pictured above it is actually from Pakistan.  If you are trying tell me your results!!!

Lipstick Jihad!

We all know what is going on over in Libya, which is a mess and really sad.  Today though I read something that I was in shock over.  Col. Gaddafi's personal soldiers are WOMEN!!! High heels lipstick and gun strapped women! I'm all for female's being equal to men, but this was just a shocker.  In a Muslim country were women veil, and cover themselves there are up to 100 women who train each year in a academy to become a personal solider.  These women are no doubt beautiful, but how educated are they? Libya is a poor country, so when these women join do you think they are educated enough to know the politics of this matter? or are they just doing it for the female revolution that is secretly going on in the Middle East?  Im happy to see women standing up in the Middle East, but I really wish it was for a better cause.  These women are also said to be virgins.  I'm sorry I have a lot of thoughts going through my head too many to type.  I wish I could just talk to one of the young women to understand, and also to know if their family agrees with their daughters protecting such a cruel man?

Outlets?

On our trip to Cali, my husband and I were excited to stop at the outlets in Cabazon CA.  We read the list on-line with stores such as Burberry, Dior, Gucci, Prada etc etc.  we were super excited me more than him of course.  But we both love fashion! We parked our car next to the main stores, our first store was Dior, it was a bust.  I felt like I was at the real Dior and looking at purses from 6 yrs ago with this years prices.  I know that nice things should keep it's value, but really they offered maybe 5% off! I thought that maybe it was just Dior and so we continued each store we went to was the same thing! Even the Juicy store didn't have sales were as the one near my house is 70% off! The stores we did find deals at were Jimmy Choo <3 Banana Republic, Diesel, DKNY, Puma, Adidas, and Coach.  I have to say my Jimmy Choo leopard sandals were worth the whole trip, but I was hoping to walk away with a new Burberry Dior sunglasses and a pair of Gucci Earrings! WRONG.  So next time you are headed out to the outlets, realize that they usually are not as exciting as they sound.  However, if you are coming from other countries, such as Canada or Europe, these stores will be cheap for you!!! I did meet a man in DKNY that was saying how everything in the mall was so cheap.  I guess it just depends on were you are from.  Also when you go into Jimmy Choo, up your size by 2 and say it in european numbers so you are not so embarassed I were a 12 in Jimmy Choo I almost cried!!!

Beauty around the corner did you know?

I have lived in the PHX area for on and off 10 years.  I just thought it was a bunch of stucco houses after another, with a Wal*mart every other block! Well, within a city that I used to live in that is in a Phoenix suburb is the most beautiful place! My husband took me and my daughter today for a bar-b-que and picnic.  Even the 20 minute drive was amazing, I couldn't stop snapping my camera.  2hrs from us is Sedona Arizona which is breath taking, along with Flagstaff and a few more hours the Grand Canyon.  But to live so close to something so wonderful is just so cool! Have you girls checked out what is around you? I took a google map and went over 40 miles and looked for lakes and beautiful things, then googled them.  Try it out you never know what you might find!! Here is a  picture.

Higher end doing lower end.

As I shop for my store on E-bay, I go to the higher end designers, Nicole Miller, badgley mischka among many other designers.  I get the high end dresses, not the JCPENNY or HSN one's that they design and sell.  Which is really annoying! Not because I wanna sell, but because the designers have great talent, and have created beautiful things, why would they sell it for less? I understand Burberry and Gucci having Runway, and different collections, but they never really stray away from the high price, and you don't find them sold at stores like JCPenny.  Not to knock down Pennies, they have great stuff, and brands like Mango have down stuff for them, but when the designer is known for having such high end stuff like $1,000 dresses it is annoying that they make ones so close to them and sell them for 49.99! Sorry, just letting out my frustration I had to spend 2 hrs explaining each of the items I'm selling and saying ITS NOT FROM JCPENNY OR HSN or whatever store for that reason.  Designers stick to your designs.  Don't sell out!

I said a flip flop (rapping the words)

Ahhh, flip flops.  Winter has gone, and the ballet slippers have danced their way into the back of the closet, and time to break out the flip flops.  Dont get me wrong I love my platforms and wedges, but one can only chase a 2 year old around for so long in high shoes.  I started buying Tory Burch flip flops and I dont think I will ever stop! The amount of comfort is just like not even having shoes on at all.  I also got a pair of jelly ones which are comfy for jelly shoes (I walked the whole mall in them with no prob) then I got a pair of a little wedge flip flops by Mrs. Burch.  Everyone has their own flip flop company that they love, I personally find mine on Ebay and get good deals on them.  I would have to say other good flip flops are Old Navy and J. Crew. You don't need your flips to be blinged out but you do need them to be comfy and something that matches everything from dresses to jean to shorts.  Tell me girls, what are your fav. flip flops! Oh and for all you girls still in freezing weather :( I wish I could trade places cause trust me I rather be in long sleeves and jackets!

Calm down

We all deal with stress in our lives at some point or another, some more than others, and also anxiety at times.  I wont go into deep details about all this, but most girls take a day at the spa or a couple xanax (your choice not going to hold it against you haha) to calm themselves down.  Well the spa is costly and xanax or whatever isn't really that safe among other things.  So here is what my husband did for me.  He bought me a fish tank! He filled it with 7 fish and put it in the middle of your long dresser (took down all our family pictures) put the filter in and he got into bed.  I started watching the fish and after 5 minutes the first night I passed out! That is so unlike me, I usually move around for 30-1hr.  The next night I watched the fish, and I thought about their lives, and forgot all about mine and every stress that I had.  Again I feel asleep in a deep sleep fast.  I usually am not a big fan of fish, I like cats or dogs, but I have grown attached to them, also my daughter loves them.  If you are not a fan of fish they do sell a type of lamp that goes in your room with a fish background usually for children but hey who cares!

Classy girl across the pond!

bebe shmebe

I personally have had enough of a once loved store! BEBE! Seriously they have had the same stuff since 1999! And recently they paired up with the Kardashins to bring more tacky style.  We can only own so many one sleeved dresses in black.  The style of BEBE is nothing exciting, it is very Jersey Shore lately and rarely do I found anything worth looking at.  There shoes, cute, but the department that works on comfort is seriously lacking.  Beauty is pain but not that much.  My BEBE shoe a few years ago got stuck under the break and I almost crashed the car!!! If you wanna look like every other girl in the club keep shopping at BEBE but if you wanna step up your style, think outside of the shoe box!!! Now don't get me started in Guess and Armani Exchange, these three stores really should of had Y2K happen when they year 2000 came.

NY & CO JEAN SALE!!!

SUPER EXCITED, since I got my NY and co jeans I have been wearing them to death, I wrote a post about them! So they are having a sale, I wanted to give you girls a head's up, buy one pair reg price second 10 dollars!!!! I love it!!! They have some super cute ones for the spring time!!! ENJOY!

Class act....

I go to school online, I'm getting a degree in Middle Eastern studies, and since I speak Arabic and my husband is from Saudi I thought it would be a great degree.  I also wanted to take a class about child and infant, and I thought it would be like the one my husband has taken that talks about the womb to the development.  Boy was I wrong.  This class is for "care givers" and day care workers.  And the teacher, to put it nicely is an idiot!!! She gave a situation that a little boy 1 1/2 years old acts out in day care and the day care worker pulls him in an angry manner and puts him in a time out.  All the students are commenting on this is the right thing and the teacher is like "yeah it is", apperantly these people have never had children, I would NEVER let anyone put their hands on my child!!! I wrote how cruel the care giver is and should be fire.  Which everyone said No No I'm wrong.  What do you guys think!? I know this is a fashion blog but I'm so angry that people think like that and they are the people that want to get jobs watching our children!

Hold me up baby

As I'm getting near my 30th birthday and have two kids, I have problems finding Bra's to give me that life that I need! I have done everything from La Perla Victorias secret fredricks dior, I mean really every bra.  I have found the best bras at WAL MART!!!! The brand is George, and they come in diff colors depending on when you find them, I have found really adorable ones and also plain ones.  I'm not one of those girls who really has to have matchy matchy under me, as long as it is comfy that is what is important! If you have the same problem as me, try out these and tell me what you think! Its 10 dollars, cant go wrong!

Hair!

I personally hate going to the salon, and paying almost $800 for bleaching out my hair a color highlights and a trim, when I can do it all at home for under $50! (except the trim).  I have been playing with hair color since I was 13, I actually had highlights in 1994 and everyone at school laughed at me, well guess what? less than a year later everyone had them, and I was laughing at them.  I have no degree in hair, and I really don't want one cause I cannot cut hair to save my life.  Plus I'm happy studying politics :).  So what do I do without breaking the bank? When I get bored I race over to Sally's (about every 2 months).  My hair is really black, so most of the time when I wanna change I go back to black, so I usually end up bleaching the black out.  How I do this, is get a bottle of 40 developer (cream) and any bleaching packet, I also make sure to have gloves, mixing bowl and a brush that applys the bleach.  (As I'm typing this I have bleach on my head and yeah it burns but what can we do).  If your hair is lighter you wouldn't need 40, most likely 30.  Then I pick the color that I like from ION or Wella, these brands are not your hair color in a box color they are what the people at the salon use.  After I bleach out my hair, I wait a few hours and let my scalp relax a bit, take a 10 developer and mix the color and apply it.  I wait 20-30 min and use a ION cream for my dry hair.  I usually wait one or two days before doing the highlights, at this point your scalp is sooooo sensitive that your head will feel like it is on fire and itch so much that you wont be able to take it so if you are doing highlights WAIT! Plus you get a chance to see what people think about your base color.  When doing highlights I get the good old fashioned highlighting cap and pull pieces through.  After that I use the same 40 and bleach and let it sit, and then shower out the bleach.  And use a cream conditioner and let it sit!
Like I said I'm not a professional I don't have a degree in this, but I have been successful with this and usually after I finish I go trim my hair and the people ask where I got it done.  Also if you are looking just for a simple color, why waste 100 at the salon? Pick up a tube of Wella, and some developer and your set, and save that money! If you can't see or reach behind you have your husband or a friend over for a color party!.  If all else fails and you hate the color just dye it dark and your only out 50 dollars instead of 800!!! :)

Many girls do purse parties, and cookie parties well this is actually a party that I would love to have in my home.  Take a look at the super cute and well made products.  And thanks Heather for allowing me to share this.

Lamas Richie?

Since most of my readers come from Lamas Richie, I would like to know if anybody knows what is going on? I know she went on strike? But really was that needed? Couldn't she addressed the comments? Joined in and said "hey this is my blog why don't you calm down".  She also said she would have a grand opening of her vault on Valentines day, and that she was always shopping for it.  Valentines morning I woke up excited to check it to see 3 handbags and two watches? I'm a little lost, and sad, I really liked the website and talking with girls around the world.

Middle Eastern tricks of the trade!

Girls, my husband is from the beautiful land of Saudi Arabia.  All of his family and girls and guys that I meet from there always have dark beautiful thick hair.  Even though my hair is already extra thick and dark, I wanted to know what the hell do they drink that they all have this hair and dark eyes!
Well here is how it happens.  It starts off when they are infants.  They shave off the hair, girl or boy and let it grow back in thick, since when you are born your baby hair usually falls out slowly they do this anyways .  They use black khol on the child's eyes and eyebrows to bring in the deep dark eyes that are often seen on the women and men and the middle east.
If you are older, and still want thick hair, I asked my husband what I could advise my readers to use.  He told me Hasheesh oil (which made me give him a strange look) he told me it is like hemp, it is legal and can be used on the scalp to make the hair grow in super thick and strong.  Also henna, if you go to your local arabic grocery store they most likely carry it.  It will make your hair color red, but it will also make it super thick and soft.  As for the Hasheesh Oil, I'm still looking for a place to buy it, if you girls find it let me know, otherwise I will keep you posted.  My older daughter I put eyeliner or khol on her eyes, and she has amazing eyes, it is not the eyeliner you get from Mac, you have to get it from an Arabic store.  Ask me and I can most likely find a store for you in your city :)

Ebay store.

My mom and I got sick of shopping on Ebay (well not really) but we realized that we have a lot to sell, and we are also great at finding great finds. We decided to open an Ebay store and last week we did a trial run, and we are still in that faze but we are doing as well as we expected, so we intend to keep it up.  I'm currently setting up shop in my home (I.e. getting all the boxes and packing stuff ready).  I have investors, all I have to do is shop! Girls if you follow me here and like something that I have on Ebay, I will offer you free shipping.  Currently, we are just starting up so we have just two products left from our trial run so they are not exciting.  I promise once I get products in I will let your girls know.  Also, I will be getting for all sizes.  Let me know what brand you love, what you shop for on Ebay.? The dress we have on now is a

LEIFSDOTTIR Dot Chain Jacquard Dress.  Heiress clothing! look for us! If you like the dress it is a size 12! My mom bought it and I told her she is too old for it hahahah, she never wore it!

Girls on a spring time budget...

Ready to box up your sweaters and break out your tanks girls?  Lets talk spring and lets talk deals! First off, a trend that started out last year and is making its way back is the open cardigan over your tank which I think is an adorable look with shorts and a pair of platforms for an everyday look! This look can be really inexpensive for all sizes.  Let's take forever 21 as an example since they have all sizes, tanks can be found for $4.50, shoes for around 20-30 cardigans under 14 and shorts under 20.  The good thing is all these pieces can be used in other outfits.  Your tank can go under a cute sundress and the cardigan for a layered look with your shoes.  Shorts can turn into night out shorts with diff shoes and a dressier shirt.  To keep this cute, and simple ad a pair of hoop earrings, to me hoops never go out of style.  Something else for me that never goes out of style is a long black flowy skirt, try adding a cute fedora hat with a long black skirt and flats.  Tell me about your spring time finds? I'm in Arizona girls, so keep in mind it has been spring time here since December haha... I have been stocking up on sandals and getting great deals! From Tory Burch to Charollete Russe.

netting.....

They have bra's and panties, and lotions and creams but I'm giving you the key to a romantic night, or if you are single a night of feeling like you are on an island.  With Valentines day around the corner as a girl, you are trying to find something to spice up your night and surprise your loved one with.  Try getting netting above your bed.  They sell them for 19.99 at Ikea, and just about every store.  A few years back they were really in demand but I never caught on board with the trend.  Recently my mom bought me one, and I hung the netting on my celling and wrapped the rest around my bed put candles and I felt like I was in another place.  It also gives your room a diff vibe and feeling.  Enjoy :)

Plus size store that rocks!!!

A while back I had ad's on my blog.  I clicked on one of the ad's and it was called style369.com, and I found out it is a plus sized store in the UK, (well plus size to them starts at like size 10 US).  I was so excited to find cute stuff, they are offering 20% off now, and shipping is not that bad it starts at 5 pounds.  I invested in harem pants which I'm sure will end up in the back in my closet, but I had to at least try.  The funny thing is that even my mother was like "Um Natalie nobody looks good in Harem pants".  I will try with some cute sandals and see.  This store is def. book marked on my pages.

Valentines day

Girls, what are you getting your men for V-day? Anyone have any suggestions for anything for my hubby? I was thinking of an old fashion shaving set?!??! He wants an IPhone!!! I'm stuck! Suggestions Girls!!!

Made in the GLAMOUROUS CHINA???

When Juicy came out, I was so happy to see two American girls making their brand in the glamourous USA!!! I was proud, we were helping our economy and it felt like I was wearing a piece of America on me! In the pass few years, Juicy has been sold off and being made in China! Of all places! I'm all for giving people around the world jobs, trust me!!! But when something is famous for being made in the USA why destroy it? As I sit here in my Juicy sweats, I wonder should I trash them and never buy from them again, or should I support them and China? What do you guys feel when American companies change and have there products made overseas? I know stores like Wal*mart and Target make their stuff over seas and also H&M I don't mind, cause they never claim USA! But this just bothers me!!!!

Girls, Crack kills....my eyes!!!!

Personally, I hate being out eating and seeing a girl's crack hanging out, does she not feel the wind drifting on her lower back? It is so tacky, either wear a longer shirt or learn how to get jeans that FIT YOU.  I went on a search for jeans.  I think I found 2 pairs that are great, and really great for us girls that are curvy and have had children, and are not straight as a stripper poll!

Skip, AE and AF and all those A' places, and read what I have to say about great jeans.  You do not need to invest your month savings into a pair of jeans, because really nobody looks at the label of your jeans and if they did who really cares? I have been wearing target mossimo for the past 5 years and they have been great!!! They come in all sizes and shapes, and you know what? They dont show my crack!!! I know that there are brands like "not my daughters jeans" but those are around 129.00 for a pair!!!! Target Jeans are 24.99-30 you can get a lot of styles and shapes and colors that way.  I also wanted to ad that last week I was shopping, and I thought to myself lets go into New York and Company....There stuff is usually a little plain for me but, I thought I would just walk around.  I saw the cutest jeans I couldnt believe it.  I went and tried them on, and they fit perfect!!! they were not down low or trying to ride low like other jeans rather they sat perfect! I paid 40 dollars! Just wanted to give you girls some tips on my latest finds!!! And remember Crack kills hahahaha!!!!

+2's

Ever since they came out, they have been a topic of discussion.  That is breast implants, or as Mr. Nik Richie calls them +2's (cause they add 2 points to your 1-10 score).  Surprisingly, they have been around since 1895, but I'm sure not used for what they are used for today. Today we find women doing them left and right and at the young age of 16 (sometimes even younger).  I'm not against implants, or plastic surgery, I just think that the people should know what they are up against, why they really are getting them, and is it something that they can or cannot live without.  Lets take Heidi Montag as an example, that girl did not need that much surgery and now she realizes that she looks like a walking monster and hates it.  I found these two quoted studies on wikipedia I thought they would be interesting to ad in.  " A 2007 Swedish and US longitudinal study found that women who get cosmetic breast implants are nearly three times as likely to commit suicide as other women. No notable increase was seen in the first 10 years after surgery, but 10 to 19 years after, risk was 4.5 times higher, and six times higher after 20 years, compared with the expected suicide rate."  "The same study found that women with breast implants also had a tripled risk of death from alcohol and drug use. Seven studies have been made connecting breast implants to a higher rate of suicide."
If a girl is doing this for more attention from a man or any man, she should re-evaluate getting them and see a doctor.  If you are getting them cause you feel like what you do not have is making you look at yourself in a negative way and you feel comfy getting them then get them.  Girls who get them for the attention of men just make me crazy, you should find other ways to make someone like you. Would you risk your life under the knife for these? Are there cases that they are needed? What do you think of girls who do it for bikini season and to pick up men? What are all my readers opinion on this subject?

Bad influence my little darling.

Ok, so I finally got around to Sephora and making my exchange (I picked up the wrong nail polish).  I got my beautiful brown called BAD INFLUENCE! This brown is great for the spring with all the navy, reds, yellows, coming into play in your wardrobe.  This brown is not so deep, so it is def. a color I'm bringing into the spring time.
When I was in Sephora, I asked if they had any of the sold out "little darling" lipstick.  The color is very light but beautiful! Since they didn't have any I gave up and ordered via Amazon.com.  This color is so beautiful and very tasteful.  It will also look great with dark smoky eyes or navy eyes! Remember you can make smoky eyes with any color its not only black.

Summer shoeissue

So, I'm in love with two pairs of shoes for the spring/summer.  I usually pick one good pair of high shoes for the spring/summer, since I'm mostly in flats, chasing around my daughter.  These are my top two shoes that I'm in love with.  The navy ones are Tory Burch and the other wooden heels are Jeffery Campbell.  My husband says both are ugly (since he hates heels) so I thought I would ask my girls what they thought and which ones would you wear? See the Poll on the side to tell me which one you prefer!!!
